About
The Spanish Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica) is a national organization that seeks to increase awareness and involvement in the Hispanic community. Members participate in projects that include tutoring, fundraisers, and other culturally centered activities. This club is for students desiring to improve the community, use their Spanish-speaking skills, participate in fun activities, build relationships, and increase cultural awareness. Lots of FUN make new friends.
How to Join
Members are not required to speak Spanish fluently, but must have completed or be currently enrolled in a Spanish II or higher class. Once you have completed Spanish II, no other Spanish classes are required to be a member. Members must have 3.0 G.P.A. in their Spanish classes or overall. Applications are available through the club sponsor. Memberships are $10 for the whole year.
Meetings
The meetings are on the 2nd Monday of each month in room 2-213. All current and former Spanish members are invited to participate.
